Due to the dynamic changes on the Polish market, especially in the subsidy system, we predict significant growth in the energy storage market over the next 12 months. We expect this market to stabilize at 50-100 thousand installations per year, which means a 5-10-fold increase. In Mielliec, we see huge potential in this and we are ready to use it.

Falling battery prices and new opportunities
We are currently seeing a rapid drop in battery prices, making them available to a wider audience. This change opens up new possibilities, and energy storage in combination with renewable energy, they are starting to constitute a real alternative to traditional energy sources. This is a breakthrough that allows us to think realistically about energy transformation using weather-dependent sources.
In the current global situation, local battery production is becoming crucial to ensuring energy security, supply chain stability and counteracting delindustrialization. We are convinced that developing local production capabilities is the foundation that will allow us to meet the growing demand for energy storage, both on the Polish and European markets.
Ambitions: developing local production capacities
The Miellec brand is part of a group that has been specializing in the production of electric vehicles and batteries for them for years. Our experience in this field gives us a solid foundation for developing production capacities for energy storage. Our goal is to build production capacities at the level of 200 MWh by 2025, which corresponds to about 20 thousand home battery sets.
To achieve our goals, we have established a strategic partnership with FoxEss, one of the leading suppliers of solar energy technologies in Poland. This partnership will give us access to advanced know-how, components and software, which will allow us to produce modern sets of power banks that will meet the needs of both the Polish and European markets.
Our partnership with FoxEss not only enables the development of our production capabilities, but also protects Polish and European customers from potential trade barriers, such as introduced and announced import duties. As part of this cooperation, Miellec maintains independence, thanks to which Miellec products will be integrated with most inverters available on the market, which provides customers with flexible and unique solutions.
Our offer for customers
As part of this partnership, we are introducing new products to the market, including high-voltage hanging power banks with a capacity of 5 and 10 kWh and floor-standing solutions with a module capacity of 3 kWh. These products are competitively priced and offer the possibility of integration with a wide range of inverters, making them suitable for both households and small businesses.
